Garlic Sauteed Rapini

Great on its own or paired as a side to complement a pasta dish. This garlicky rapini will please your taste buds for sure!

  1. 1 bunch rapini, cleaned & trimmed
  1. boil water in a large skillet
  2. cover & cook ~2 minutes until stalks are tender
  3. drain & place in ice water
  1. 2-3 tbsp oil
  2. 1 red onion, diced
  3. 1-2 splashes cooking wine
  4. 3-4 cloves garlic, sliced
  1. heat oil in the same skillet
  2. brown onions - using cooking wine to deglaze if desired
  3. add garlic once onions are almost done
  1. 1/4 tsp salt
  2. 1/4 tsp pepper, ground
  3. 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  4. 1-2 splashes cream
  1. add everything to skillet
  2. add rapini, stir to combine & until hot
